Adorabile
Un libro bellissimo e super consigliato sia per quanto riguarda il contenuto che l'impaginazione e le fotografie. La grafica è davvero bellissima, le ricette accattivanti, verrebbe voglia di provarle tutte e Jemma è bravissima a ideare ricette originali e a riproporle in modo chiaro (la si può trovare anche su YouTube). Ovviamente è un libro in inglese quindi serve una buona padronanza della lingua per poter comprendere le ricette.

Es un bonito libro de recetas
Las fotografías son muy bonitas, con lo que es muy agradable de ojear. Las recetas son siempre para 24 unidades, aunque yo lo hubiese preferido para 12. Lo ideal es apoyarse con su canal de Youtube para ver las elaboraciones, y utilizar el libro como consulta y así no tener que ver el video constantemente mientras practicas la receta en casa.

楽しい、簡単でも甘い
YoutubeでJamie OliverがやっているチャンネルでJemmaのケーキが紹介されており 動画でも作れますが、実際キッチンで立って作るには本があった方が便利なので 買いました。写真がきれいでとてもかわいらしい本です。ケーキは基本のカップケーキ の他にも創作的なケーキがたくさんで色とりどりでどれもこれも作ってみたくなります。 作り方はとても簡単で計って混ぜて焼くだけです。子供と楽しく作れると思います。 よけいな添加物も入れず、フレイバーも食材から抽出した物を使うので自然です。 主にケーキ地はバターを使いますが、チョコのケーキは植物油から作ります。これもバターの物に 劣らずしっとりふんわりでおいしいです。ただこのレシピに忠実に作ると非常に甘いです。 しかし砂糖はケーキのしっとりさやふくらみとも関係があるとなかしましほさんの本で 読んだので、ケーキはそのままの配合で、クリームは砂糖ほんの少しで作っています。 一度、レシピ通りに作ったとき、クリームのあまりの甘さにのどの奥が痛くなるほどでした。 普段はなかしましほさんのレシピを作っておいしくいただいていますが、自然で素朴すぎて 飽きちゃったなと思うときに、ちょっとした楽しみで簡単に楽しく作れます。

A Great Little Cake Book for Big Impact!
I love this book. Having been introduced to cupcake Gemma by my daughter via You tube and followed her film instructions for Hot Toddy cupcakes and PB&J cupcakes I was eager to get my hands on this book and it did not disappoint. I liked the layout, with a little bit of background to Gemma's cake shop in Soho and then a seasonal layout for the many great recipes. I know that many recipes are available to watch on her You tube channel but believe me, its much easier to follow from the book and you don't have to write down the ingredients. I have made the red velvet cupcakes twice and have spent many moments drooling over the photos and planning what to make next. Green tea and sesame brittle and banoffi sound utterly delicious. Recipes are clearly set out and simple to follow. I have not had one disaster and my cupcakes have risen to perfection, something that hasn't always happened when I have used other cake shop owner books. It is a small book and has a wipeable cover so be prepared for it not being quite as big and glossy as others but lets face it if the recipes work and taste this good who needs a glossy hardback edition?
