I was skeptical when my daughter said she really wanted these for her new baby. I got them anyway and was surprised! The content of these books is actually really good. Each book has a different subject and has simple large, colorful drawings. Examples: Colors, Letters, Shapes, Numbers, Farm Animals, Sea Creatures, Vehicles, Jobs (like in the community, ie. policeman, nurse, doctor, fireman, teacher), plus others. it will be awhile before her baby will use these but I think bath time is a great opportunity to teach these concepts and have fun. I recommend them for new parents. Also, yes, these are made in China but I did not see any cultural differences or errors in content or spelling that you might expect from items made in another country. Obviously the target purchaser is American and it seems the manufacturer did their homework.

Entertaining enough and durable

I was very pleased with the books. My two great grandchildren 2 years old love the books. We read them every day. The pictures help them to recognize the words. Some of the pictures they didn’t know. They are learning all of the pictures and words. The material is light weight and durable.

I love these books! They are colorful and are the crinkly material, so it grabs my baby’s attention. Even my older nieces love to play with them. We read them often and she likes to chew on them and wave them around as she explores them. They are super easy to clean. I throw them in the wash with her clothes and then air dry them. After over 10 washes, they are still very good! Reading is very important for baby’s development, so I definitely recommend them!
