Q: im 275 pounds will it fit

Unfortunately it might not, I'm about 200 myself and it was really tight. There are plenty of DIY videos on YouTube for us curvy girls and they're easy to learn. : )

Q: My friend is 5'4 and weighs almost 230 lbs. Most of her weight is in her stomach. Could she fit this?

The item is highly adjustable but she may have some difficulty putting it on, especially the upper portion which all straps into the back. The straps are definitely long enough but she might need help getting it on properly. The whole thing essentially is secured by the belt pieces.

Sorry, it might not. I'm 5'4 and around 150 pounds and it fit me. It seems like it will be too big.

My daughter who used this for Halloween is 5'1", and this fit her well. However, only some of the straps are adjustable, others not. It may be large on you at this time. Also, hopefully you would have someone help you with the costume, because it is remarkably in-intuitive and the instructions are in Japanese, no translation. My daughter took 1-2 hours to put it on, with help. Good luck with it!
