Solid product.
I travel 30 mins to reach to the cycling track each weekend and carry 2 bikes. Feel no noise, no wobbling at all. It was easy to install and perfectly fit to my Ford Expedition.

Great quality item!
This bicycle hitch, after taking me forever to decide on, is really a great, high quality item! Looks good, feels like a high quality hitch and though I am yet to hook it up, I know this will no doubt do the job! Super happy with my purchase!

I think Allen make some of the best bike racks available.
This is my second Allen bike rack. Other is the SUV type. You won't find better. In fact I think they are better than some brands that cost considerably more. I added a rubber strip to the down pipe so my bike can't get scratched or dinged under harder braking when the bike swings toward the frame. Something I thing they should add from factory.

Sturdy and easy to use
This is a very sturdy device. Easy to use. Will need an 18MM ratchet or wrench to attach so it takes a few minutes to put on but it’s very sturdy

HITCH RACK IS STUCK IN THE RECEIVER
After 4-5 times application, suddenly hitch rack stucks in the receiver and no way to release it.

Attenzione all’aggancio!

Fortunately no one was hurt
One of the rubber straps broke during the first time using this bike rack at highway speed, resulting in the bike flying off the rack and onto the highway -- a potentially deadly scenario. Fortunately no one was hurt. I returned the product and received compensation from Allen Sports for the repairs needed for my mountain bike. One of the first things you'll notice about the rubber straps on the Allen bike racks is how thin and flimsy they are, clearly inadequate for the job they are expected to do. For this reason, it is essential to use the nylon "safety" strap -- not merely an option. Or better still, spend a bit more and avoid any bike rack that uses rubber straps. The more expensive Thule racks still use rubber straps, but at least these are much stronger. Yakima racks, which I now have, use locking plastic clamps which work well and give greater peace of mind.

excellent bike rack
Excellent bike rack. Easy to install and supports bikes very well. The fall back feature to allow tailgate access is very handy. Haven't noticed any wobble as reported by other people. The dual arms and well designed cradles and straps support bikes much better than other racks I have seen, and the fold-down arms when not in use are a great feature. Highly recommend this rack, the more I use it the more pleased I am with it.

DO NOT LET BAD REVIEWS KEEP YOU FROM BUYING THIS BIKE RACK
Do not, I repeat, DO NOT let bad reviews on this product keep you from ordering this bike rack. Racks at bike shops are $250-400. I read reviews about how this rack didn't fit into the hitch sleeve and how it was loose and how the bikes swayed around. NOT TRUE! Anyone with half a brain can install this into a receiving hitch. You just have to make sure the bolt is tight and you may actually have to use some muscle and do a little wiggling to get the bolt through the hole. But not any more than you would a trailer hitch. My point is: this hitch doesn't just clip in and snap on. If it did it would sway and be loose. My wife and I have used this rack to travel with both of our bikes and we use a bungie cord around the front wheel just to make sure it doesn't move. This rack is well worth the money. I would definitely recommend. I bought this item with my own money, this is not an endorsed review. I just couldn't believe the bad reviews I read that almost kept me from buying this. And when I installed it I thought to myself, "The people making bad reviews probably shouldn't even be riding a bike, much less trying to drive a car!!" Perhaps I'm being a little too harsh, but no more than the harsh reviews that are simply inaccurate.

Not recommended
I purchased this rack because of the easy insert and locking mechanism into the hitch. At the first insert the spring pop-out pin did not pop out into the hole in the hitch but stuck in the 2” adapter. There is clearly a design and/or manufacturing issue with this product. I immediately contacted Allen with an explanation and photo of the problem. After several emails they offered a replacement 2” adapter but insisted I pay the US $30 shipping cost. This left me more than disappointed since I was showing them an inherent problem with their product. I dismantled the adapter myself and used a file to enlarge the hole. I suggest you purchase a rack from another company, preferably Canadian.
