Q: Does the utility door need support when opened or will swing all the way down over an edge?

If you mean the front door; it would swing all the way down, but it also has rubber stoppers for if you had something in front of it to land on.

Q: Can this be used indoor ?

I do! It does smoke a little however with the hood fan on it’s minimal. It’s too cold to go outside right now brrr!
