Used to stick candle wicks. Seems to be decent quality

Always reliable, squeeze it out spread it on and it sticks. Ultra reliable when used as intended. Which leads me to confess that it was an accident that led me to using it correctly. I spread it on the two sides I intended to glue and I used to just stick the two together, or leave it for a few seconds then stick together. On this particular occasion I spread the glue thinly on the two surfaces and was then distracted by someone at the door. It was some 15 minutes before I remembered and when I returned, both sides were completely dry. Thinking I was going to have to reapply some more glue I absentmindedly placed the two sides together and to my amazement they bonded instantly and could not be torn apart. So, from there on in I have left both surfaces to dry completely, 15 mins or so. Against my intuition it works much better. Try it on something first if you are not sure. And yes, I should have read the instructions first.

Glues are best at what they are best at! Obvious really, but UHU general purpose glue is my favourite *paper* glue. It's a plastic, dissolved in a solvent which evaporates. The glue 'dries' as the solvent evaporates. It leaves a clear plastic layer, which sticks to both surfaces being glued. It does *not* stay the same size, but shrinks as it sets - so not good for filling holes. It comes of skin, easily, too.

Perfect for my daughter's building project in school. It can even glue paper together! We bought 2 sizes and ended up using the smaller tube for the smaller items. Buy it, you'll never regret it :), great for craftwork, archituctural building projects. We sweared by this in Uni days doing architecture!
