Not as strong as it should be

The product is great, the reason I gave 4 stars is due to the description, it is Made in India, not Made in USA.

Let's just start this off by saying that I am a gardener. I grow a summer vegetable garden in the Pacific Northwest. I grow pole green beans and not the bush-type. The wooden or metal poles at the ends of the rows have wire strung between them at the top and the bottom. Between the wires, twine is strung for the bean vines to climb up. I have always been able to find at my local hardware small balls of twine called ivy/pea twine. 2 balls would be all I needed for the season. Even though this is a farming area, no one seemed to carry this product anymore so I have been on the search for a substitute. The TW Evans Cordage 4-ply poly cotton is almost an exact duplicate of the ivy/pea twine.It is supporting the bean vines with no breakage. The 12,000 foot cone will probably last the rest of my gardening years. Glad I found this product.

Not very thick but seems strong. I am using it to support my squash and tomato plants.I grow everything on strings because I don't have much room. 95% of my yard is either concrete or pool.And 12,000 feet should last me a couple of years.It's easier to at end of year to just cut the string at both ends and throw it and the vines out.

Second time I buy this. It is excellent for large doilies or tablecloths and I also use it to make French net market bags. A lot more economical than those little balls of crochet thread, too!

I purchased this poly-cotton cord to wrap packages. While itnit a little thinner than I thought it was going to be that is my error since I obviously don’t know how to read weights on twine. But even though this is skinny cordial mg it works beautifully to wrap up my sold items. Looks professional and is uni-sex, which I was wanting to move towards in order to save money. It costs me a lot less money using this poly-cord than buying ribbon for twice the price. I would purchase this cord again, even at this weight.

I can't praise this product enough! I'm amazed at the quality & softness of it. There are some tiny specks of cotton husk, but not noticable, and seems to disappeared after first wash! They shrunk after washed, but almost returning to original size after stretching (just using hands). ie. only shrunk a little & so much softer after first wash.LOVE! LOVE! LOVE this product for crocheting garments. Have ordered more & will continue to order from now on!
