Q: What are the clips used for?

I my canvas is 75 by 125. They keep it rolled when working on a small surface. I use the clips instead of binder clips.

They are for when u wanna hang it up on a light so u can see the symbols better

The kit has everything but keep in mind when you order a 5-D Diamond Painting kit the tools come with each and everyone you order. When you order a kit you get the green diamond holder the tool to place the diamonds and the red wax, also small little bags for left over diamonds.
