Monster Isport Superslim Bluetooth Wireless In-Ear Headphones - Green (128652-00)

First thoughts. Not used Bluetooth headphones before so was a tentative purchase. These are no longer on the product list on Monster website and I bought them at a discount. I have been using standard wired apple in ear phones so that is my point of reference.Out of the box, their are the usual extra attachments for ear bud and hook for fit. They are very soft rubber and a little fiddly to get on and off. I have ended up swapping around a bit. The largest size gives a really tight fit to the ear and almost complete noise cancellation, and really stuck into your ear but it felt like I had created a different air pressure inside and for my road cycling I really need so awareness of what's around me. the cable / volume control are quite heavy and will pull a loose fit out. the rubberised cable adds to this because of a small amount of friction so adjustment of spare cable is necessary. Out of the box I couldn't make them work and the manual isn't brilliant. But as I thought this was to do with low charge on the battery. Left for an hour to charge and they immediately went into pairing mode when long pressed on the pause button. They recognised Bluetooth on an IPhone SE within 1 or 2 seconds and connected straight away. So far have only been out for a walk on the fells with the dog and they have been super light and comfortable, and I am confident that they will stay in place for running or cycling. The main use is for mountain biking so fit and weather / muck resistance are key. All the cables seem well covered / connected and the charging point has a little rubber cover for it ( possible weak point) so fingers crossed I think they will be durable.I like my sounds, spoken word / folk jazz blues or rock. The manual suggests 20 hours of use before the drivers are properly settled so I need to give these the benefit of the doubt but out of the box, the sound is not as warm as the apple wired earpods. There is a slightly brighter thinner sound, but a good degree of separation and clarity. I enjoy music with a strong base or drum beat especially when mixed with sport and this is a little understated so might try messing about with the EQ on the phone to compensate. Its there but not purposeful. I would describe the sound quality as a little better that the apple. If I had paid the original £109 rrp I would be disappointed but for £30 I think they are fantastic. wearing in a house with thick stone walls I lose the signal after about 10ft away which is to be expectedSo overall Bluetooth set up and connectivity is great. build quality and durability seem good. Multifunction is easy to use for pause or track selection / volume etc. I haven't used the mic / answer phonecalls but think this should work fine. For £30 I would give these 5 stars.

Just the best of the best. Why have Monster stopped producing? - Imbeciles!Absolutely love these earphones. Great quality, apt description at point of sale, good value, prompt delivery and excellent customer services - recommended. You need two for a day's work though but who cares!

I bought these, used them at my office desk for 2 months, then went for a run with them. On this run the right earphone broke - no more sound. It is budget sports earphone with nice sound quality. It is little uncomfortable for initial few days but later it will be fine.My main concern is battery life of the earphones as well as there is no way to mute one earphones. We need the feature to mute one earplugs if we are running on road for safety concerns.

Tick lots of boxes - value for money, easy to fit, comfortable, don't fall out of ear that easily, hold a charge, sound quality ok for gym, reasonably robust, look ok etc however middle button not working already (power on/off so quite important) after only a few months and limited usage. Now cannot use hence the one star. Look elsewhere.
