Cheaper Than Replacing the Couch
Be sure to view one of the videos near the questions and reviews that show you how to install this. Overall, it's not too difficult, but you do have to make sure everything is properly aligned. I installed one of these and the handle snapped off in my hand after three months of use, so ensure you open the recliner before inserting the metal peg into the appropriate bracket and that it is fully seated in the hole.

Plug and Play!
Was able to directly plug this into the connectors inside my recliner and get the reclining function to work again! As this was a "middle section" of a sectional I had to, and was able to, route the wire up through the cushions so I could set it on the "little table" we put on the middle of the couch to hold drinks, remotes, etc.Works really well and seems reliable after 2 months of many uses per day...

Good replacement part
Works great in my recliner! It took longer than I thought to get it fixed. Once I figured out the recliner has to be on it’s back to easily access the parts area then I got the part replaced.
