They would be okay for beginners.
Sizes are good, but the hook doesn't go all the way down the handle, causing the handle to bend easily. I can see them breaking with a regular amount of use.They are very light, which could be a plus in some cases. But I would probably only recommend for beginners who won't be using them daily and in longer time frames.
