Are these heavy? I'm wondering if these would work as toppers on a half sheet cake?

They are a little heavy and I predict they would sink into the frosting. I think it would work though if you put a little piece of cardboard or something similar under it to more evenly distribute the weight and then frost over it.

Each car is 5" long, 2" wide, and close to 1 3/4" tall.
