Tamiya steht für Qualität. Und weil sie nicht alles selber machen können, ist dies auch ein OLFA Messer. Steht ehrlicher Weise auch drauf. Aber daher muss man es nicht zwingend von Tamiya zu einem etwas höheren Preis kaufen, sondern kann es auch im Original bestellen. Es passen aber demnach auch OLFA Klingen rein. Das Messer ist aber von sehr hoher Qualität und liegt mit seinem etwas höheren aber gut ausgewogenen Gewicht gut in der Hand. Ich arbeite mit zweien dieser Messer mit unterschiedlichen Klingen. Sehr zu empfehlen

The absolute best knife/blade holder I've ever held or encountered, by such a long shot. I was going to say I've used hundreds of different kinds, but more realistically, there are dozens of different ones I've used extensively and none come close to this. A quality heavy-duty metal collet holds the blade. It is not made from a cheap soft alloy but is sturdy and robust without blade slippage. The knurled collar grips well and can tighten firmly without stripping any threads and doubles as a great point to handle. The rubber grip behind it is comfortable yet not squishy and the long fibreglass-reinforced plastic handle is a perfect balance between weight and strength. The collet does need a decent amount of torque to tighten it down firmly on the blade, but that might be due to the blades I'm using right now. Regardless of having to use a little force, I can't say enough good things about this knife. It's worth a hundred others, and the increased pleasure and quality of the work you do as a result can't be overstated!
