Rejuvaskin Scar Fx Silicone Scar Therapy, 1 Breast Piece, white

I bought this product as have recently had a breast augmentation. It is a bit big but it sticks well, customer service is very good.

The adhesive on this thing is just right. It's sticky and I am little bit irritated. But stays in place for hours and its perfectly effective. I would still recommend this to everyone.

I had surgery which left scars from hip to hip and armpit to arm pit. The lower line had several infections and busted open a few times. The upper line is broken and disjoint and includes several very rough areas that are raised and sore. All in all, my skin is a mess! I really like this 22" silicone strip, it stays thicker and sticks longer than anything else I've tried so far, and I have tried a lot of products. This particular size also performed WAY better than some other sizes from the same manufacturer. And at these prices, I need to have these strips last a while. And I don't want anymore tape on my skin, I was bandaged for weeks (maybe months!) and I am very glad that this strip stays in place on its own. I put the strip across mt lower incision in the AM, and cut parts of a second strip on the parts of the upper incision where I can get a straight line, like under my arms. I use silicone creams on the areas of the upper scar that I can't cover with a straight line. The creams are expensive so I use sparingly. In the evening I take a bath and gently peel off the strips, wash in warm soapy water, rinse, and wrap them around a plastic bottle, sticky side down. In the evening I use various scar and stratch mark creams over night. I like to use creams that are not as expensive as silicone in the evening, so I can use a lot of it and let it soak in all around the damaged areas and older surgery scars too. The areas with the Scar FX strip during the day seem to be healing best, plus the scars are not being irritated all day since the silicone is protecting it from rubs & bumps. All in all, this is a very good product and I would recommend it to anyone with longb straight scars to heal or fade. Anfangs war ich begeistert von diesem Pflaster. Ich habe es fast täglich getragen und nur mit einem ganz milden Spüli zügig gereinigt und zum lufttrocknen über ein Küchen-Handtuch-Gestell gehängt. Nach aber nicht mal zwei Wochen fing es an, zu verrutschen und nach zwei Wochen hilt es überhaupt nicht mehr. Für diesen Preis und Handhabung wie angewiesen, hätte ich deutlich mehr erwartet.

Eigentlich möchte ich gar keinen Stern für das Produkt geben, wenn das von der Gesamtbewertung her gehen würde. Ich habe mich für das teure Silikonpflaster entschieden und wurde herb enttäuscht. Zum einen kam der bestellte Pflasterstreifen (30 cm lang) in einer überdimensioniert großen Verpackung an und dann hielt das Pflaster nicht. Beim zweiten Tragen, nachdem ich es - wie in den Hinweisen beschrieben - gereinigt hatte, klebte ich es auf und habe innerhalb von 4 Stunden den Pflasterstreifen verloren. Das Pflaster hat sich unter der Kleidung einfach gelöst und ist abgefallen. Bei anderen Produkten ist dies nicht passiert, bzw. passiert es nicht. Ich versorge aktuell eine 30cm lange Narbe mit dem Pflaster und habe unnötig viel Geld für dieses Produkt ausgegeben.
