Q: Is there any reason this can’t be used on skin? The same oil for skin is a lot more expensive. I’m in need of lubrication as well as my hardware.

Coconut oil is less expensive and works well on pans and your skin.

The oil is good for any steel knife and it’s metal parts.

There is no mention anywhere whether it can be used in frypans. Grape seed oil or avocado oil are recommended on the internet.
