installation requires drill for screws?

Yes it does, if you mount it on The ceiling. We hung ours on a pull up bar in our gym. It works great there. No screws required for that.

Do they come in black or just grey like the pictures?

If my ceiling is over 10 feet high will the trapeze be long enough for my wife to still be able to get into?

Good morning, Great question. The trapeze pro comes with daisy chains, instead of nylon ropes. These measures 70.8 inches long and 0.9 inches wide (1.8 m long and 2.5 cm wide). Please have in mind we suggest that the trapeze hangs about hip height so that you can get in and out without difficulty.
