Maui Moisture Lightweight Curls + Flaxseed Conditioner, Conditioning, Paraben Free, Silicone Free, 13 Fl Oz

I love this shampoo and conditioner. It was exactly what I was looking for. It’s lightweight for my fine curly hair, so my hair stays bouncy and voluminous. First ingredient is aloe! It’s affordable and smells yummy.

Fine, wavy to 3a hair that is low porosity. This is my new favorite thing. First of all, this product smells amazing. It's not one of those heavy perfume smells. Mostly citrus, a bright and natural smell. More importantly, it works fantastic. I was using an expensive organic conditioner for curly hair that my stylist had recommended and it just wasn't working for me. This is about a quarter of the price and a million times better. I have low porosity hair and my hair just was not absorbing the other conditioner. Now my hair is moisturized, shiny, AND had volume after using- the holy grail combo. Plus my hair is so soft. It's like my hair has been dying for this all along. Not too heavy to use at the roots as well. Now my scalp is no longer itchy.

I have always had fine curly hair, but since I used to have so much hair, people actually thought it was thick. Now, because I have to take Prednisone, I still have fine hair, but very little. I love that this shampoo thickens my hair so it gives the impression that I have more than I truly have. I also love that it doesn't contain sulfates, parabens, nor chloride. I recommend it to people that have fine thinning hair. If you feel it might leave your hair a bit dry, I recommend you apply Moroccan oil, and it will solve the problem. Also, it depends on which blow dryer you might be using. When I use the Curl Smith brand, my hair looks super shiny, but with absolutely no volume. For someone with thinning hair, this is definitely not a good idea. When I use the Conair (The Curl Collective C I) blow dryer, it gives me lots of volume (I use the diffuser for coily hair), and my curls become coily and fabulous.

1st use: The scent profile suggested citrus, but it does not smell how one would imagine. Product smells like hollistic bug spray? Needless to say, not a fan of the smell. The plastic bottle it comes in is indeed, evil. I saw the reviews and thought to myself, "I'll just transfer it to a different container." NOPE. Lid is LOCKED in place with no safety seal at all, just a flip-top lid you can't unscrew, in a thick plastic bottle you can't squeeze. Consistency & coverage is excellent! I have long medium-thick hair so I'm used to using extra conditioner, but I didn't have to use as much. Wet hair certainly feels softer. We'll see how these 2C curls behave when dry. To be continued... 3 days use (following directions on the bottle) and my curls do seem progressively less frizzy. I like how thick it is, allowing for thorough coverage. (Can confirm, bottle is evil. Shout out to the "unless you shower with the Hulk" review! Spot on!) Still not a fan of the smell, but I can't argue with the results.

I have oily, light wavy hair. The conditioner has a wonderful smell. Not sure how some are getting nasty smelling ones, but I have ordered this multiple times. Some may complain about their hair being left oily, but personally, my hair doesn't come out oily. (However, I do use shampoo that helps with that.) Honestly depends on how much you use, but the consistency definitely covers. Just a quarter size or less works enough, unless you have long hair. Also, when my hair is wet or dry, my hair is left soft, hard to avoid touching it, lol. My hair still comes out frizzy, but it definitely tames it. Overall, it works for what it promises, definitely a good to, just be mindful of how much you use.

Unless you have Hercules or the green guy Hulk in the shower with you don't buy it! If you use both hands to squeeze the product and you are fast enough catch it before it slides down the drain then aces for you! I purchased the shampoo and have almost the same proplem with getting the product out. But since the consistency of different I manage. Whoever designed the bottle? What was your goal? Strengh training while washing your hair? It would be ok if you could unscrew the bottle and get it out that way! But guess what? YOU CAN'T! I have Lupus and Inflammatory RA so maybe it's just me? If so that's kind of embarrassing. Anyways the product is great for my curls and I love the product itself. Easy to rinse out which is great because my hair is really long.

I love the shampoo and conditioner so much, it has a honey like scent that is really pleasant. My friends tell me I smell like happiness when they sniff my hair, lol. I have fine, medium density 2b/2c waves and the flax seed line is very compatible with them. The conditioner makes my hair super soft when I leave it in for 10 minutes or so, but this isn't something I can leave in for a minute, it needs more time to marinate and do its job. Love it, gives me great hair days and I think my hair has improved since using it. One bottle has lasted me 5 months already and I'm 2/3 the way through. Will purchase again.

Ya no hay más shampoos para mi Que los de Maui. Digo esto después de gastar mucho $ en olaplex y total repair de loreal. Me quedo con los de Maui 200%

products came perfectly sealed with no issues, this is fabulous I love this particular line of Maui which has been extremely hard to find in Australia for the last 12 months or so at a price that wasn't disgusting like $24 per bottle!? I'm sorry but as much as I love Maui I'm not paying that, no brand imho is worth that
