Some great short stories in this collection. A good way to introduce yourself to some of the more famous authors, without having to commit to a full-length book. Recommended.

Another big book of short stories, which I downloaded for my Kindle. Very good selection. Pleased I discovered this e book edition. Great. Thanks.

I suppose for the price, you can't expect much, but an anthology of 100 stories on a kindle really does need a working contents list so you can navigate to the stories you wish to read. The only way to read this book is cover to cover, and then laboriously skip, page by page, through those stories you already know well and don't wish to re-read just yet. The first story's font is huge, but after that, the view seems to settle down. The anthology contains many well-known stories always found in collections and a few more unusual ones, so you may find something new. It would also have helped, since the Go To doesn't work, to have the author's name under the title at the beginning of each story.

Not as exciting as it could have been. However, maybe I’ve just read too many books like this one!

A wonderful collection of true classics! An eclectic mix of wonderful stories and amazing writers.
