I have experienced it from stinging hot to just warm. I think it depends on your own skin sensitivity and in which area you are applying it. What I know is it works really well for my sore muscles and it helps diffuse the blood in a bruise helping those to disappear quickly. Never apply to open skin/wounds.

I suffer from burning sensation of soles of feet at night especially, Any good?

Yes it will help and I have the same thing. Running sensation I have is in my toes and I use the aloe heat lotion and I also use salon pass patches. I also use ibuprofen. You can get the salon pass patches at Amazon and I definitely recommend them as well as the yellow heat lotion. Actually I think I would rather have you get the salon pass patches because they'll stay on for about eight hours. You can probably buy them at a Walgreens or any other drug store like right aid or CVS. I get them from Amazon.com. It's easier that way.
