Zote Pink Soap Pack of 1 Total 14.1 oz

I learned about this soap on a trip to Mexico to visit friends. Everyone in their little town uses it for everything; washing clothes, bathing, etc. I love the smell. It takes me back! I also just recently used it to clean cooking oil stains out of a sweatshirt that had been through the dryer . . . so the stain was set-in pretty well. But after one vigorous hand wash (like my friends in Mexico do) it came out without any stains! Thank you Zote!

This is the best soap for cleaning a Beauty Blender and makeup brushes. It gets every last trace of makeup out of sponges and brushes and is easy to rinse out. I haven't used anything that works as well. It's almost magic, how clean all my sponges and brushes are after using this soap. I keep a bar beside my bathroom sink, which is very handy. It gets grimy foundation out of my sponges so easily. I run the bar under warm water for a minute or two to soften it and then take my wet sponges and rub them direction on the bar. I only have to do this a few times and they look brand new. The same is true of makeup brushes, even if they've been used with waterproof products. All the dirt and muck rinses right off. I'm sure this bar would be great for getting stains out of clothing too. I ordered three bars of Zote soap, which will last forever. I used to wash my sponges and brushes with Dawn dishwashing soap, baby shampoo or Dr Bronner's soap. None of these got them as sparkling clean as Zote. And the suds rinse out very fast too with no residue. It's an amazing soap and I'm so glad I discovered it on youtube. I immediately ordered some after seeing several videos of how well it worked. It's been a great product for me and is now my holy grail sponge and makeup brush cleanser. And it's so cheap too! I paid about $6 for three bars, which is a steal because each bar will last a really long time. I highly recommend Zote soap, not only for makeup tools but also for everyday stains on laundry. It works especially well for baby clothes. I just wet the bar and the clothing item and rub the bar directly on the stain before throwing everything in the washing machine. And VIOLA! the stains come out like magic. This is really an awesome product that I will continue to use.

Just received this soap which I ordered after seeing it recommended in a travel Article. I plan to slice off a smaller bar to put into my weekend travel bag for hand washing when on the road. The smell is nice, a light citronella scent which is pleasant and it might even help to repel mosquitoes if I happen onto some in my travels. Right after I hit the order button, I went back in and read some reviews. I happened upon one review that stated that there was only one bar of soap per order. This is NOT the case. I did in fact receive three bars individually sealed and again sealed into a package of three. Was very relived to receive the three bars as the description states. I think this soap is going to be very useful.

Great for cleaning makeup brushes!

I bought this bar soap after seeing an influencer use it to clean makeup brushes. It’s awesome for this use. I cut it into 3 pieces so I wouldn’t be getting the whole huge bar wet every time. I just washed 12 brushes using this soap and the Norate cleaning mat. What usually takes me a solid 15-20 minutes using makeup brush liquid cleaner took me maybe 5-6 minutes. All the brushes came clean the first try. I’m sold on this product. I’ll be cleaning my brushes a lot more often since it’s now so quick and easy.

**Pay close attention to the item description!** I thought I was getting 3 bars of 14.1 oz soap. I was actually getting 1 bar of 14.1 oz soap, or the equivalent of 3 small bars. I was very confused when my package arrived, but I double checked the product description on here. Turns out I was the one who made a mistake.I purchased this soap as an ingredient for homemade laundry detergent powder. I found the recipe on the blog How Does She and used that. I made a half batch of the detergent and it made a lot. I am very happy with the detergent recipe.The soap itself is a little harder to grate than Fels-Naptha. It's softer, like cheese. So it gunks up the grater a bit and makes it more difficult. But it smells sooooo much better than FN! It's a soapy citrusy smell with a floral note as well. It reminds me a lot of Ivory soap. The shavings are also a lot easier to mix with the other detergent ingredients and make sure you get a good mix. I combined mine with Lavender Blossom Purex Crystals and my detergent smells heavenly!
