I have had these in various parts of my house, for over a year, take them off at least once a week to clean under them, and they're still just as strong and sturdy as day one! They are so easy to apply, my cats love them and use them a lot, very affordable, good size (big enough for lots of scratch room, small enough to put anywhere). The adhesive for the velcro does not damage the floor and the velcro is very strong. I have two cats, one of them is a horizontal scratch kind of dude so he uses these a lot! I have 3 of these mats in my home, and have gotten them for friends who have cats several times. These are a win!

This has become his favorite spot in the house. As soon as I layed it down and he walked on it, laid down and tested it out. Glad I made the decision to purchase it.

The product is good quality and it stays in place on the carpet but my cat does not like the feel of it and does not use it to scratch. I had to go back to the old messy kind. It doesn't mean your cat won't like it but it doesn't have that scratch feel for my cat.

My new kitty loves to scratch like crazy on the carpet right outside my bedroom door. From the second I put this mat down, she has used it and seems to enjoy it. The mat flattened out from being rolled up relatively quickly, and I don't even need to stick it to the carpet underneath - stays put all on it's own with occasional small readjusting. I'm a fan of the size, not too big or small, and fits just about exactly the width of my bedroom door (standard size I'd say, however it's not a wiiide door like you see in some older buildings.) Color is true to the photos as far as I'm concerned. I expect it to hold up pretty well, as she has already used it quite a lot but it is showing no signs of wear about a month into use.A bonus - I think her claws don't get so stuck like they do in/on some surfaces, which I would think is a healthly and or comfort benefit in some capacity (can't ask her of course, but it seems to be kind of fun and not frustrating the way say a longer rug/smooshy couch may be).

cat loves his new scratch pad. we were looking for something that didnt shred and need to b replaced like the cardboard scratcher. this pad has tape on the back edges that stick to floor or walls . we slipped ours partially under a larger rug.
