I love this mixing glass. It's way more sturdy than I expected it to be and a nice size. Not being a bartender, I would just try stirring in a regular glass or a rocks glass. This is way better. It's much larger and allows for proper use of the barspoon. I wish I had gotten a stirring glass sooner. It also looks great! I'm definitely please with this purchase.

This is a perfect mixing glass with avery nice heft.

I have used this several times, along with a tulip strainer. Works well. I will note it is rather heavy.

Mixing glass is thick and heavy. Looks good on display. Helps a lot when mixing bourbon drinks. Note: box the glass came in was beat up and we found a couple of small shards of glass in the bottom of the box. After close inspection, we determined the shards must've fallen into the box because the glass were perfectly fine.

Woah return window closed but.. today, just using it to make cold foam with a mini handheld cold foam frother, I poured the cold foam in my cup, and this glass mixing mug split completely into 2 pieces right there in my hand. I can’t express how GLAD I am that it wasn’t an employee that got hurt. Ridiculous. I didn’t read anywhere that this product was a disposable item I thought it was made to last and not go into landfill after a month. Dumb

Nice mixing glass. Pretty glass, just what I've been looking for and for the price, can't beat it. I've been looking for something like this to make my Old Fashioned, Manhattan and other drinks that I like just stirred not shaken and just couldn't find it anywhere. But as usual, Amazon.com always pull through and I was able to find one at a reasonable price. As for other reviews have indicated, there is a seam but who cares about it...... as long as it serves its purpose (in my case, to make my drink), that's all it matters. No one is going to pick it up and inspect the glass and say "aww man, this glass is made with two pieces." or something like that. I've used it almost everyday since I got it (which also arrived quickly as indicated as a Prime member) to make my Old Fashioned drink after a nice dinner along with a nice cigar. My friends would visit and would also as for an Old Fashioned.... Great buy although the packaging is kinda cheap....

Bought a few for the bar I work at. As a bartender I hate them because they are too small to properly make more than one cocktail in at a time. As a home bartender they would be perfect since you probably won't be doing a large volume of drinks. For any stirred cocktail these are essential and they are sturdy, heavy and very pretty and customers compliment them a lot. Again the only downside is the size but I work at a busy bar making multiples of drinks one after another so it's more of an efficiency problem. You can fit the liquor of two drinks in them but not with the proper amount of cubed ice. Would buy again in a larger size or for a home bar.

Have no fear with this exquisitely designed glass piece! I was afraid it wouldn't be tough enough but, I was wrong. This is a very beautiful glass piece and works great when I muddle a couple of olives for a refreshing martini. Whether shaken or stirred is the true question.
