Yes, there is certainly a moisturizing effect. It does a good job of softening and hydrating the skin.

Yes, natural antibiotics , a moisture barrier. No issues with any area of body.

I do instant itchy red bumps similar to hives but not sure can this help with that?

It helps calm my psoriasis. Hives are generally an allergic reaction to something external or internal. This salve is great for reducing redness and scales but I'm not sure if it will help with itching. Manuka does have antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory attributes so if the bumps are a result of a bacteria it may help. An antihistamine cream might help if you are having an allergic reaction.
