Quality and durable
A very good workout machine, when you sync with Ifit, wasn't easy to assemble. Packaging was neat and good, no USB port to least charge your tablet when connected to machine.

Perfect treadmill for staying in shape when it's cold outside or when the gym's too expensive.
I'm going on a month with this treadmill- I will update the review if things change.Number 1- This was a great investment considering most gym memberships run about $50-100 a month AND require a 100-200 initiation fee. You'll make your money's worth in gym in no time, especially if every time you go to the gym you usually use the treadmill. It fit in my one bedroom apartment and makes the sound equivalent to a washing machine.Putting this thing together took two people and about 3-4 hours. But once it's done, it's a very satisfying feeling knowing that you assembled the monster. In terms of how it works:Here's the breakdown, this is a super amazing and sturdy treadmill to challenge any level of walker/runner. I've used it in 30-40 minute intervals so I do not know if it might not do as great in a 1 hour workout. So far, I can quickly adjust the speed, incline and fan quite easily. The 12MPH max speed is perfect for my sprint workouts (I can't go super fast so 12MPH is great for me...). I make sure to follow the super paranoid instructions of keeping it plugged into a surge protector and turning it off between uses (both the treadmill and the surge protector). I didn't need the ipad stand, but it's convenient if that's what you want to do while on the treadmill. For me, I just pushed it down and out of the way. Overall great, I hope it keeps up.

A good home treadmill if the price is right
Having ordered this, the price subsequently dropped by $130, so I had to cancel and re-order at the new price. After ordering, I saw the latest offer price had doubled, so be careful what price you buy at. It seems to vary week by week. I paid CDN$630, but it was subsequently CDN$1200+, same item, same supplier. Also, to set up the treadmill, enrollment in ifit is required, including credit card details. Then once activated, if ifit is not required, it must be cancelled on line. Nothing insurmountable, just a pain in the neck.On a positive side, for the price I paid, it is a really sturdy and capable home treadmill, hence the 4/5* recommendation.

Initial impressions very good
I just put it together last night and used it for the first time today. The packaging from the factory was top notch. They even had wood zip tied to the sides of the main treadmill piece to prevent crushing! As for Assembly, unboxing is the hardest part. We took our time putting it together but realistically think 2 people can pull it off in an hour. We got it done around 10pm last night, and then went to start it up for a run when we were greated with "hello" scrolling repeatedly, scan light lit up, and none of the buttons responding. I thought it was broken until I realized the final step of assembly was "activation". Why would a treadmill need activated? This is why I'm giving it 4 and not 5 stars actually. The activation is pretty much a scam to try and pressure you into an ifit membership. Ifit is a total rip-off and the tablet app won't even fire up, it just crashes repeatedly on my samsung chromebook pro and has 1.5 star rating on google play. $15 a month for a poorly supported after thought app, you can shop around and find a gym membership for less than $15/month! At any rate to bypass the "activation" and actually use your new treadmill all you have to do is hold the bluetooth button for 15 seconds. ProForm could have just put that in the manual but instead you have to go onto ifit's site, start the activation process, and tell them you don't have a tablet to get the information. So they get -1 star for trying to scam me! Now onto the treadmill. The build quality seems solid, like a commercial grade treadmill! Lots of steel, all capacitive buttons, and a large LCD display. To get running instantly just put the key on, and press the green start button. You can adjust your speed with the up/down arrow buttons on the right, and you're incline with the up/down arrow buttons on the left. Lots of features like a heart rate sensor, built in speakers, and workouts. The speakers sound ok. They get decently loud but are kind of hollow and don't have much bass, but that's ok. I really wasn't shopping for a treadmill with a sound system as i have a decent amount of bluetooth speakers and headphones. Just an FYI there is no actual bluetooth audio as bluetooth is reserved for the ifit stuff. Overall I think its a solid treadmill for someone wanting a just a good treadmill and not picky about gimmicks. I'll update my review if I have any problems down the road but for now it seems solid.
