Q: Is there a weight limit? Wanting to move a pool table to get new floors and wondered if this will work???

I'm unsure about the weight limit. The heaviest item I have on the sliders are wooden TV stand with a bunch of electronic equipment such as cable box, router, and game console. It slides effortlessly when I need to clean or repair back there.

Q: will they protect new carpet from indentation?

These are meant to facilitate the moving of your heavy furniture by sliding them, practically effortlessly, across carpet and other surfaces. If you intend to leave them under the legs of your furniture, they will leave an indentation on carpet, just as much as if they were not there. No more, no less. If you find a product that makes that claim, please post here, as I have never heard of such a product.

Q: Does this Have strong chemical smell?

There is no chemical smell to me at all.

Q: Would these be good to keep under the washer and dryer for easy moving? Or would it make the machines move when in use?

I tried this one time, but when the wash load became unbalanced, the washer tried to move all around the floor. The dryer moved around, also. So to answer the question,I would not recommend that application.
