This pipe doesn't burn and die fast?

eh... that's debatable... i smoked out of mine i'd say on average once a day for about 4-6 months at the most... and the bottom burned out. started off as this soft soggy sort of - i didn't even know what it was, so i grabbed a paper clip and started digging little bits of the stuff out of there, next thing i knew i picked a hole right through it... now you might say "well you're an idiot for picking at it", but i probably didn't pick through more than 1/16th of an inch of material until it went right through... it was literally like 3 little chunks and i had swiss cheese... but for 8 bucks, who gives a rat's... i just bought another

Where can I buy the right filters for this?

You can get them right here on Amazon. Search for pipe filters, they are by the name Dr. Grabow. I live in South Carolina and they also have them at Rite Aid drug store. You should be able to find them at any store that sells pipe tabaco.
