will this fit a child's finger

It depends how old. I am a woman and referee soccer with it. It fits fine on 2 of my fingers. It would fit a teenager. Not sure if younger.

can just the whistle be replaced? I have a fox40 whistle and am looking for just the finger grip.

I may be wrong but I can see no obvious way to separate the whistle from the finger grip.

Is there a smaller version? The one I ordered is way too big, so will be prone to falling off.
