Worked to fix my broken luggage
If you travel a lot, you probably noticed how rough the airlines baggage handler treat our bags. Often you will take them back with missing wheels or just cracked/broken.When this happened to me, I did some research and found out that people were using fiber glass kit to fix their broken luggage. However, this is quite messy and require sometimes some skills to be able to make it work well. So, back to Google to finally found someone showing on a video that he was using this Sugru paste to fix his luggage, and that worked perfectly. I decided to try and ordered the set with the blue one, since my bag was blue. It was really easy to apply and use, without leaving any mess in my hands (still I used disposable gloves just in case). So far it seems to hold well, but also is quite flexible too, which is good for this kind of bag made of flexible hard shell. We shall see how this patch will resist to the next baggage handler experience. But so far so good though. Keep in mind that you cannot just use a little bit of that paste and save the rest for later. Once you open one of the bag in the set, you have to use the whole thing as quickly as possible. The glue will set correctly after a good 24h.

So many uses!
I love finding reasons to use this! And I love seeing how everybody else is using this product on different things in the reviews! I have used this to put a hat band back on a hat using just a very small amount. I thought I lost the hat band because it was not secured when I purchased it. I did not want to sew anything onto the hat to secure it because it would show on the band. Using just a little bit of the black glue on 2 sides, the band is now secure and doesn’t move at all. A picture attached is from a large candle that arrived broken. I wanted to put the bottom portion back on and used the white glue to secure it. Works like a charm! I like this much better than any kind of superglue product because I always end up getting the superglue on my fingers or skin. This molds very well to pretty much anything but washes right off your hands.

Worked great repairing car dash.
I used this product to repair a cracked dash on a car I restored. The product arrives in a foil pouch for each of the colors (white, grey, and black). The pouches are colored to match the material inside. For my project, I used only the black material. To use, I opened the pouch, took a small amount and worked it like clay in my hand. I then pressed the material into the crack and filled it. There was a small amount of material on the surface of the dash which I just gently rubbed off. This moldable glue stay flexible matching the feel of the dash. The crack is still visible, but I really don't notice it unless I'm looking for it. It has been over a year since the repair and is holding up good with know problems.

Great stuff!
I’ve used Sugru to reinforce charging cables, make hooks for cords, and even affixed my magnetic kitchen knife bar to a tile backsplash! This stuff is great. My only complaint is that it is very expensive and once you open a foil pack you have to use all the product at once. So plan ahead!

A quick fix
I ordered sugru to wrap around magnets to attach to my drill so I can always have my screws or bits handy. This was my first time using the product and I was a little surprised at how much it stained my hands and table when I was molding it (I was using the black sugru). Once I got the shape I wanted, I gently touched my magnet creation with a piece of plastic to help minimize the fingerprints and this did help somewhat. The final result is alright- definitely looks homemade due to the lumpiness but gets the job done. The sugru has kept the magnet attached to the plastic base of my drill without any problems so far!

Good not great
If you’re using not to repair a charging cord, it works great. I applied some to a panel in my car that has been loose in hopes that it would adhere it back into place, but it didn’t work. It’s malleable until dry and maintains flexibility.

An tineresting product.
I used it to fix a cracked handle on a coffee carafe and it did the job. I haven't used it for anything else, but it seems like it could be wasteful unless you have it all plotted out so once you've opened a package you are sure you'll use all of it.

Pack-size changes from 5g to 3.5g
At first glance price looks about the same as it was before, if you count per number of pieces ('packs'). BUT in old days one piece of Sugru was 5g, this new ones are only 3.5g per piece so basically you are paying more than 40% more! Would you call it rip off?

Failed to harden after six hours although used successfully in the past
Used previously in a three-colour pack (white, grey and black) and then the only choice available, it is now available in single-colour packs of those three plus many other colours although they are only available in various combinations containing up to eight pellets. While easy to use, it is intended to harden after about 30 minutes within a moderately warm environment (up to about 25-deg C). On this occasion, when used to repair the pouring lip of a bowl that was accidentally chipped days earlier, it was found to remain soft and still mouldable more than six hours later. The white material was the first to be used from the original pack (what was then repaired is now not remembered) and the black was used just a week or two ago and also very successfully. The Use-By dates on the two packs are different (03-22 on the older one, 11-22 on this) but still well within date so there is no clear reason why this should have failed this time unless the product has changed or it is from a faulty batch. An alternative epoxy-based product will now be obtained - that had also been used previously and in a great many situations, always successfully.Addendum - a later purchase worked exactly as it should, solidifying within 20-30 minutes (it was a very cold day) and completely hard about 24 hours later when next checked. Unfortunately, every time it has been used only a small proportion of the slab was needed with nothing else needing repair to suit that colour and use the remainder. At least 3/4 is wasted every time and that makes it expensive!

Perfect for fixing broken spectacles!!!
The arm snapped off my glasses and I tried sticking it back with tape and super glue but it always just came off again after a few hours. Then I saw this stuff on amazon and voila! Its like blu-tak but it sets hard after 24 hours. Actually it took a little longer as I'd used quite a thick blob but it worked well and stuck the metal arm of my glasses to the glass lens with ease. I mean, it doesn't look great with a blob of white stuff on the side of my glasses but its OK until my new pair turns up in a few weeks.

Awful stuff
I’ve always been intrigued by this stuff. Finally I had a frayed charger I could purchase this for after seeing all their ads.Well it didn’t last 2 minutes! There is quite a lot in each pack, so you could use it for multiple things.I tried as they boast the charger, which started to come away almost immediately after drying.I also tried the hook as per the adverts….I didn’t even manage to hook anything onto it and it fell off when I used my finger slightly to see if it was fire after 24 hours.Rubbish buy!

£6 for Sugru or £200 for a repair man? Hmmm...
The hinge on one end of our letterbox flap broke when a very optimstic postie tried to shove a big package through. Replacing the letterbox on a UPVC door can be quite pricey, as I discovered. The break was just a tiny shattered piece of plastic. So I bought a pack of black Sugru, made the repair on Saturday after the post came, and by Monday morning it had hardened and was working perfectly. I still have two sachets of black Sugru so if it goes again I'm sorted, but frankly even if I don't use them for anything else I'm still saving a lot of money and hassle.
