Anyone use this since your child was a baby and had no cavities?

Cavities have more to do with flossing and gut health. Do not change to a flouride toothpaste like some one are suggesting

Blueberry tube- Xylitol, Aqua (purified water), Glycerin (coconut derived), silica, aroma (blueberry flavor), xantham gum, calendula officinalis extract, potassium sorbate, citric acid. Made using organic ingredients. 99.8% natural origin of total. strawberry tube- Xylitol, purified water, Glycerin (coconut derived), silica, organic strawberry flavor (fragaria Chiloensis), xantham gum, organic calendula officinalis extract, potassium sorbate (naturally derived), citric acid.

This is my second question: I read that xylitol, is not a healthy ingredient. Does anyone know more about it? Thanks

Xylitol is actually beneficial for the teeth. You would have to eat pounds of it every day to reach toxic levels. This is true for anything you would ingest on a regular basis. I am aware of some very poorly researched and presented articles on Xylitol and if you dig deeper and really look at the research presented you will see that none of it adds up to negative findings presented in the articles. Xylitol is a sugar alcohol that does wonders balancing the pH in your mouth. Pathogenic bacteria thrive in acidic environments. Xylitol brings up the pH (makes it more alkaline), inhibiting the growth and action of pathogens. You can safely take up to 15 grams of xylitol every single day! I would make sure your xylitol comes from good sources (e.i. hardwoods, such as birch and not GMO corn). There is an interesting book I read recently called "Kiss Your Dentist Goodbye" by Dr. Ellie Phillips. While there are still some things that I feel I need to look into more, I have 100% confidence in what she says about xylitol. You can find a lot of information about xylitol on her site too. I helped me a lot. No, I am not in any way affiliated with this author or with the industry of making xylitol!
