She likes her hair straighter than it naturally is. This product was highly recommended by her 24 year-old beauty queen daughter. It works perfectly. So I give this double four stars. Four from her daughter and four from me.

Not the best smell but not the worst. I spray it on before I flat iron my hair, I follow up with a product from the same company, it's called sexy hair smooth sealThat works great too and it smells like the beach! So any scent left behind by this black can goes away after I apply the smoothing spray. Worth the price.not sticky or oily.Doesnt make my hair stiff. Smooths my hair nice and I feel like it really does protect my hair from heat styling.

While it works use sparingly as it will make hair greasy. I tried on dry hair and that is a greasy no no. Now I only use wet

This heat protectant spray is super oily. I sprayed it on my hair at a distance and as lightly as possible. Upon doing so my hair became visibly, oily, greasy and even clumpy. I will not be able to use this as it makes my hair so oily and dirty. I tried to return it, but it's not a returnable item. Such a waste of money. I would avoid this if you have straight hair, fine hair, hair that is easily weighed down, or hair that is not textured.

The Blowout Professor on uTube showed this to be the most effective heat protector compared to others that he bought at Ulta. So I had to try it as I straighten my hair with an iron (Dyson Corral). It spritzes out as a fine mist, and it gives a fantastic shine and softness to the hair. I was amazed. I don't even have to add my usual oil after styling. It is also less sticky than my current heat protectant, Moroccan Oil. However, you have to use VERY sparingly or your hair will look greasy and hang in strands. Still, aside from that learning curve, I love it for it's gloss and protection. One thing that helps is to lightly spray into palms of hands and then smooth it over your hair. Don't spray directly unto hair.

When I first tried this product, I didn’t like it. It felt greasy and I didn’t like how it took longer to dry my hair. I almost returned it, but I decided to give it another try. I thought that it would be better to use less so this time I just barely misted it over my hair and blow dried my hair with a round brush and it feels so silky afterwards. That’s the key: less is more.

Not impressed with this product. No matter how far from my head that I spray it...it makes my newly washed hair look greasy once I spray it on. I will use it up as I paid for it, but don't recommend. It may work as far as the thermal protection, but I can't use a product that makes my hair look worse.
