Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Shampoo For Damaged Hair Repair - Strengthens and Repairs Weak and Brittle Hair, Sulfate-Free, With Citric Acid

I’ve been using this shampoo for a while and I really like it. It cleans my hair well without feeling too harsh, and my hair feels softer after washing. It has a nice smell and works well as part of a regular hair routine.

(This is a copy and paste from previous review because it’s a regimen of three of these products {this being one} to see you hair shinier than you have probably seen since childhood or have only seen on people/models on TV, regardless this is one of the 3 things I use to get awesome shiny, soft and stronger hair) SO… Living in the country, not the city, means well water and some places no water softener. Unfortunately, this leaves hair brassy, dull, frizzy & what I call why bother hair!!. I used the complete line starting with the 1st one, when working this regimen, start with ACIDIC BONDING CONCENTRATE INTENSIVE TREATMENT (leave in hair for 5 mins in the shower) then wash hair with the ACIDIC BONDING CONCENTRATE SHAMPOO, next use the ACIDIC BONDING CONCENTRATE CONDITIONER. THATS IT, THATS ALL, NOTHING ELSE NEEDED IN HAIR AFTER THAT! No need for leave in conditioner on most hair. I personally straighten my hair after this washing hair regimen. The first time I used this, I couldn’t believe I was looking in the mirror at my hair. For real, I was checking myself out all day, next day too! My hair looked shinier than whenever I got out of the salon. It’s CRAZY INCREDIBLE, the shininess was outstanding & I never thought I would ever see my hair shine like it does with this, like when I was growing up in the city! If they gave all girls with dull hair a sample of this regimen, DARN their sales would sky rocket. It’s for real pricy tho, but you don’t need to use this daily, use once a week or for some use once every 2 weeks, you will be astounded at the very noticeable results on your very first try. I know I sound like I’m trying to sell this stuff, which I’m not, it’s just that I have tried toooo toooo many products & asked so many different hair stylist about what I could do to get that shine back and they always had only 1 or 2 products that they carried which I suppose they were obligated to try and sell. Anyway, I really felt like my shine was a thing of the past. Now, I just feel obligated to spread the word to all but especially to those of us that live in the country & who are always on the hunt, always trying tons of different products, (which become a waste) being able to just look in the mirror once again & see shiny hair, & feel damn good @ both the look & the feel of healthy shiny and envious hai, giving us a lil pep in our step. LMBO @ myself, I do sound like a sales person but I’m not. This is strictly a late, but massively honest review, I don’t work for anyone, I don’t get anything for free & I don’t even get free samples, tho honestly, I totally wish I did!!!

Fantastic Product...... Great for colored hair and smells great...... truly hydrates your hair.

My curly haired daughter has highlighted hair and this shampoo made it super smooth and hydrated. She also uses the Redken acidic bonding 5 min mask and the same product line leave in. If your hair is fine, make sure you use a really good in shower moisturizer as it can dry out.

I ordered the shampoo and conditioner. On day one, I used them and no other products. It left my hair feeling greasy and looking greasy. My hair was still very soft and less frizzy than usual, but I didn't like how my hair was clumping together due to whatever oils or whatnot are in these. The conditioner did not make my hair feel soft or detangled like other conditioners do. Day two I used both and ended with my own Pantene Pro-V conditioner to try to get that smoothness back and my hair detangled. It worked but my hair still was greasy looking and clumping together. Day 3 I used only the shampoo and my regular conditioner -- AMAZING. All the benefits of healing my hair, minimizing frizziness, and making my hair super smooth and sleek from the shampoo without the greasy look from the pairing conditioner. My hair used to be a mixture of soft and brittle (past bleaching, but it's been over 2yrs since I've touched my hair), but now is only feeling super soft! I suggest trying the shampoo with your own conditioner first. If the results are to your liking, then don't buy the conditioner. Wasted ~$35 on a bottle of conditioner that I will only use every now and then to fortify the work the shampoo is doing, and that will only be on days I'm not going out in public. Lol

Normally I love this produce, my stylist introduced me to it during one of my visits. I immediately went onto Amazon and ordered it. I'm not sure if the vendor is simply filling the bottles with inferrior product as this does not smell the same, nor leave my hair as soft and manageable. The bottle did not come with a foil tamper seal but since I have not purchased the product at an actual store, I'm not sure if this is standard protocol. This was my only reason for giving it a 3 instead of a 5.

Love this shampoo and conditioner combo. My hair is thick, dry and frizzy and had keratin treatment a while ago to a negative effect. My hair feels stronger, softer and straighter from the first wash. More manageable and colour enhanced, highly recommend. Excellent customer service too if you need assistance. Will buy this here again.

Brilliant shampoo for getting all the product buildup from other products. It smells nice and feels nice on the hair without stripping it. I have afro natural hair, which I wear straight. Do not use this as your regular shampoo, use it to clarify, as it would be too much.
