UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW: The seller immediately responded to my email, and offered a replacement shade graciously and politely. I just received it and it works perfectly. I still think the price is a bit high for what you get, but updating the rating to 5 stars due to the customer service and general appeal of the lamp.******The look and style of this lamp was exactly what I was looking for (height, dark wood, tripod, etc.). Since you have to assemble the legs (three pieces for each leg) and the shade, I think it’s a bit overpriced but was willing to try. However, the shade itself had three broken clips when it arrived so it does not adhere to the metal frame as it should. I contacted the seller asking for a replacement shade and will see what they say. Since I really like the style of the lamp I’m willing to see if they’ll make it right. If not, the whole thing will get returned.

We found this looking for a replacement for some outrageously expensive piece our interior designer recommended- and it’s perfect! GREAT price, quick to assemble, looks wonderful. Only weird thing was the first one I ordered came in a box that was beat to heck and had the wrong color wooden legs- but I returned and the replacement came in 1 day, brand new box and the right color. Highly recommend this lamp for anyone looking for a MCM vibe!

Good value for the money. However, I had debated between the dark brown or the black. Chose black, but the one I received had quite a few problems with the finish (white sections as though the parts weren’t dry when packaged or something). Assembly instructions were simply pictures, but managed to figure them out ok. The only thing I did wrong was to shove the connectors too far into the shade frames. This makes for a shade that isn’t perfectly tight.

I purchased three of these lamps amd they are beautiful, sturdy and easy to assemble.

The legs come in multiple pieces so you see the lines and screws on the legs. Not only does it take a while to put together but some pieces don’t fit properly together and the lamp shade is flimsy and does come together wellI’m going to have to go in a store and buy a proper lamp nowWaste of money 😤

Each leg is in three parts, the shade comes in 8 parts, it's a feat of product design to be sure to get a light like this broken down into parts so small that it fits in a pretty tiny box that you wonder how on earth it can contain such a lamp. So if you enjoy assembly, knock yourself out and then be a little disappointed in the overall quality of the finished item - I mean it's OK, and looks good from a distance, but just don't look close up. If you don't enjoy assembly, and I have to confess I do not, then do yourself a favor and take a trip to your local lighting store to buy something already put together and almost certainly higher quality - and indeed more expensive, but that's what you're paying for.

I love this lamp! It’s on point! ❤️

Light is well made and looks fabulous. Like the fact it has clip to pull in cords. Step on / off switch is easy. Happy I bought.
