Excellent quality battery charger and maintainer
I puchased this to keep the expensive type 31 batterys from sulfating on my John Deere backhoe. So far it has performed admirally. I like the fact that it has the capability to charge a totally dead battery if needed, which most other charger / maintainers won't do. I selected Noco over the brand I used to buy after seeing a comparative product review on the "Project Farm" YouTube channel.

Great battery tender for a Corvette
I have a 2006 Corvette that I converted to a lithium-ion battery from Braille. When I did this, I wanted to make sure I had a compatible battery tender to make sure the Braille battery would stay nice and healthy during prolonged periods the car is not used. The C6 Corvette is known for battery run-down issues, and I knew this problem would be exacerbated with a lower reserve capacity battery, but I wanted the weight and space savings. I originally had a quick disconnect system in the car, the inconvenience of this became clear whenever I needed quick access to the car, so I decided to install an on-board battery tender. The NoCo unit is very small, and lends itself to being installed in a multitude of locations. The weatherproofing helps a lot, especially if you mount under the hood. I decided to mount inside the rear compartment nearest the battery. This may be an issue for Corvettes with a full-size battery back there, but for me, since the Braille battery was already a smaller footprint, it made fitting everything inside the compartment easy. Long story short, the unit works perfectly. The Braille battery in my car is still healthy and the car hasn't really moved since it's not my primary car. If you're looking for a small tender that can look after a multitude of different batteries (lead acid, AGM, litihum ion), this is the one you want, ESPECIALLY if you're concerned about space and want to mount it on the vehicle in question. NoCo has many other options for garage tenders as well if you aren't interested in mounting on-vehicle, and in my opinion they're the best when it comes to jump starters and tenders. They have many products to choose from, and I highly recommend this unit, as well as anything else made by NoCo. I have one of their jump boxes and the power and footprint are very impressive. I've started equipping all my vehicles and my family with their products.

Great chargers
I have had several of these units over the years, and have no issues with them. I've had the two bank mounted on a boat, a single Bank mounted on a car that's in storage, a dual bank that I use on a utility cart. No issues with any of them. For my latest project I use this for a spray rig. I have a deep cycle battery inside of a battery box, and have the single Bank unit mounted on the outside to charge my deep cycle battery.

My 1st choice in battery chargers
I have a 12-volt lithium battery for my truck camper setup, and I needed a way to charge it. I purchased MY 1st NOCO more than 3 years ago for my Jeep and it has worked flawlessly so of course NOCO was my 1st choice for my truck. The NOCO is inexpensive keeps my battery at full capacity with just a few hours of charge. It is super durable it stays in the dusty bed of my truck and has never missed a beat. It is super simple to use just connect the battery leads plug it in and look for the light that tells you it's charging!

Great quality battery charger/maintainer unit.
This battery maintenance charger is an essential part of keeping your expensive car or truck battery alive and well. Your battery life will increase by 1-2 years especially if your driving habits are lots of starts and short trips of less than 10 miles (which barely recharges the battery between starts). At the end of the day, plug it in to an extension cord for the next days use. One thing which may be very important is the charging amps capability of the charger. 1-2 Amps will be sufficient for a motorcycle, ATV or small tractor battery, but a 5-10 amp charger/maintainer is my preference for a car or truck with higher cranking amperage output.

Was skeptical....but not anymore!
I purchased this device to hopefully remedy a parasitic drain on a vehicle that sits most of the time and I only use on the weekend as I have a company vehicle to use during the week. I kept getting in and finding that the battery was too low to even turn the engine over. After some blog reading, watched a couple Youtube videos and then diagnosed a parasitic drain on my system. In one of the blogs the author mentioned that this company's device could not only trickle charge my system while it sits all week to make sure the battery stays at an optimal level, it has the ability to condition the system to remove a type of crystal that forms inside the battery and ends up killing its performance. Armed with that, I came over to Amazon, found NOCO products and did some more research before settling on this particular one. I was skeptical, I have used trickle chargers in the past, how could this thing be different? The first thing I did was use it to charge the battery back to optimal levels. Next I used the conditioning function as I found out that when a battery discharges too many times, it causes a crystal to forms on the plates and this crystal absolutely kills the performance of a battery. I then reconnected the battery, permanently mounted this unit to my wheel well sheet metal and hooked it up. I fished the plug out through the gaps near my lights and have it so it is easy to plug in when I need to but not in a place where it will get ruined while driving. Kind of like using heaters for diesel engines in cold weather. I have had it on my vehicle for several months now and I am SUPER happy with it. With any luck I will be able to figure out what exactly is causing the abnormal parasitic drain but in the mean time, this little guy is worth EVERY penny I paid for it. I even used it to restore the life of an older deep cycle marine battery I had that seemed to be on its last legs. I just disconnected it from my car battery and hooked up the bad battery, charged it, then immediately ran the conditioning cycle. I ended up running that cycle twice as the first time helped but it still didn't hold over an 11 volt charge. Now its resting voltage is 12.7 volts and I cannot be happier. So it has paid for itself and then some by me not having to buy another marine battery. Hope my long winded review helps.

I have this installed in my slide in truck camper. It is maintaining and charging its battery when connected to shore power. SO far I have to say, I like this unit. I had an older NOCO that was great, and still is... but it is rated much lower (2.5 AMP as I recall) and did not do Lithium. I decided to up my game and use this in its place and keep the older unit as a spare. The Gen5X1 is a great unit. Its small size and higher AMP rating along with its smart settings and maintainer capabilities make it a real winner in my books. It works great, it easy to use and is very solid. All NOCO devices have excellent connectors and cables as well as a decent quality feel and function. So far after about 1 year-ish I am impressed. RV, Camper, Marine, you name it... this is a handy little unit with some power and versatility.

Works great as my auto start worked all winter after installing this under my hood. I first bought a 2 amp version and it did nothing against the canadian winters and my auto start would not work in a morning as the 2 amp charger was not even trying to keep my battery alive in the -30c winters. I upgraded to this 5 amp version and never looked back as I have it so when I plug in my block heater it also power up this charger. Every morning now when I hit my auto start button on my keys the truck fires right up and my battery light is green every morning. We'll worth it's money so far as I now don't need to boost my truck like I use to have to with the 2 amp charger

I got this to replace my old battery charger which cannot charge Lithium battery. This one works wonderfully! 30 mins is enough to fully charge my Lithium motorcycle battery. A super fast charger that is able to charge all kind of 12V battery, all you need is just push a button to change the mode. This is my 2nd Noco product after my jumpstarter and I can say Noco never disappoint.

Tremendous charger. It’s next level though slightly more expensive. Worth it in my opinion. Just know that this unit has no alligator clips and only battery terminal eyelets and is a single continuous cord from the charger block to the eyelets. This is more suitable for permanent mounting than a temporary charge.
