Buyer beware
I almost drank pieces of glass that came from this bottle!For context, I filled the bottle with filtered water. I poured it into a white mug to drink. I spotted a chunk of blue glass and small shards in the mug. This was the first time I used it and immediately after washing. Thankfully I used a white mug or would never have seen the glass!

Only one minor issue...
The bottle is as you would expect. The only problem I had was figuring out how to install the ceramic top. It would be nice if they would include a simple drawing to show how to do it. Other than that, it's a good product.

Beautiful bottle- lid hard to put on but not impossible
This is a really beautiful, solid bottle. I love the cobalt blue- very calming. Nice, thick glass, and holds a good amount of water or any fermented beverage- about 4 cups. With cap securely on, it is leak proof (I tested it). If leaving a full bottle of water out in the sun, I would recommend either not closing the bottle or leave a few inches up top if closing the cap or keep the cap loose. In the sun/heat, it will expand and can crack the bottle if pressure builds up inside from expansion.I also watched a short video on how to properly get the cap on these grolsch flip-top bottles. I tried to post it on here, but Amazon would not post my review with an outside link. Just look it up. You have to put some muscle into pulling down the lever (do not worry it will not break,) and it will work perfectly fine. In time, it will get easier to open and close. At least, it is very secure.Overall, very pleased with this bottle and would purchase again.
