'99 M3 Coupe. I've had this car for about 25 years now and redid the inner door cards after fixing a minor window issue. Of course I didn't disconnect the battery before disconnecting the side airbags and had the SRS light. So basically self-inflicted. No biggie, got this tool overnight and it immediately cleared the SRS warning light in seconds. I'm kind glad I got around to this so late in the car's life because, doing this 10-15 years ago would have cost a mint with literally only the dealership to do this OR getting a hold of, what was then, a $1000 diag unit. If this doesn't fix your issue, then you probably have real problem to diagnose further. Easily paid for itself, but I would be hard pressed to ever have to use it again. Hopefully I can lend it out to help others.

Delivered it was exactly as described. Will be used for fault code reading and cancelling on the SRS circuit on my BMW 323i

I used the adapter and start scanning and really showed the problems but when I hit the button scan to reset the airbag light it doesn't works.

Installed a new aftermarket wheel in my e36 and the kit didn’t include a 3.3ohm resister to bypass the airbag. Because I drove my car without the stock wheel or resistor installed, the airbag light came on and needed a purge. That’s where this tool came in! I plugged it into the diagnostic port under the hood and cleared the code. The resistor I installed did its thing and the light has stayed off. Caution, driving your car like this is not safe… so is taking pictures of your instrument cluster while driving. Don’t do it!
