I bought ten of these as stocking fillers for family and friends as I felt they were something everyone could actually make use of - unlike a lot of stocking fillers! I have to say, I was not expecting them to be quite as nice as they are. The size is perfect for a handbag, even an evening bag. The quality is really excellent for the price, and engraving is good. They even got the accents right on the name of a French friend. I paid extra for a little presentation box, which really enhances the gift.

The item is fine - the mirrors work, the unit is solidly put together and the engraving is pretty and nicely done. Following on from some other reviews, I would say that this would form a personal touch in a 'goodie bag' set of gifts for bridesmaids etc (to use others' example), but it's not of the quality to be a standalone present. I doubt the seller intended the latter anyway, given the really good price they're charging. I ordered one for myself first, and I'm very happy with it. I'd certainly buy more as stocking fillers.

The product was exactly as advertised and delivered quickly. The quality is very nice. The only thing I wish that was different is the direction of the inscription. I wish it was engraved so that it was readable while I was using the compact… in its current state, once I open the compact, the words are upside down.
