The uniform is very well made with a durable look to it while still having a professional karate appearance as well. Feels very comfortable to move in & I have no doubt this will hold up to our very rigorous training sessions. - I ordered mine a little larger than suggested - size 4 were what the charts suggested, but I got a size 6 - I am 5' 9" & about 200 lbs with a solid build & I have the thick(hockey thighs) legs & thought the size 6 would be more for me-turned out to fit perfect for me but I would guess that it all depends on how your frame is built - A very good purchase in my opinion! - thank you Amazon.

Quality at a Reasonable price: I ordered this in Black color to wear and practice in my first series of iaido Japanese art of the sword classes taught by Sensei Ron Campbell (soarfeat.org) at College of Marin. I will start with this uniform, then graduate later to the more expensive traditional pants-skirt black hakama. I chose black because black is the traditional uniform color for the iaido Japanese sword practice. The thickly constructed white belt is long enough to go around me and tie neatly in the traditional knot. The fabric of this uniform is closely woven, sturdy, comfortable on the skin, and breathable so you don't become overheated in a gym/classroom that has no air conditioning during summer. I usually wash any brand-new clothing to get rid of the stiffness of the sizing. I washed this uniform twice in cold water with Tide Original Oki Ultra laundry detergent powder. There was no shrinkage and no leaching of the black dye. The seams are all tightly finished and constructed securely. The jacket has ties on two sides to keep it closed during strenuous movements. I am a petite woman and ordered the Size 2 which was a perfect fit for my 95 lb 4 ft 10" build. If you are bigger/plumper around, order a size or two up. You can always shorten the pants legs and the sleeves. I looked at many similar products. The most expensive ones made in Japan or China are 100% cotton. The cheaper ones are 25% cotton and 75% polyester. I am pleased I found this 55% Cotton 45% polyester mix. It is an easy, quick cold wash and air-dried wash and wear, which makes good sense for something that is used in martial arts activities. I will order a second set so I will always have a clean, freshly laundered set ready for every class and practice session. Highly recommend this seller and this product. Very reasonably priced for the quality.

I love the fit on me (size 4) the top and bottoms are comfortable, though it didn't come with the free belt lile it stated on the discription. Either way it's a comfortable uniform 😊

The crotch is a bit small and the gusset should be larger for doing high kicks, but solid stitching, thick and strong fabric great for practice
