This still has calories but only 40% of what sugar contains.

Tastes good but Xylitol may not be safe. I was using it a lot but now much more sparingly because of possible safety issues.

This is the only cane sugar substitute I'll use in my coffee, it's the perfect match as far as taste. It took me a long time to build up a good tolerance to the alcohol sugar, but I now have no stomach issues with it. However, there is a limit; for me I can have about 4 tablespoons of this a day without trouble but anything more can give me tummy trouble (nothing really terrible, just loose stool).

The package I received is different from the one pictured, and does not specify what the Xylitol is made from. Most Xylitol that is made from birch says so on the package because it is more expensive than Xylitol made from corn. I called the manufacturer to get more information and was told that they package what they have in stock at the time. It can be Xylitol made from either birch or corn, and yes, it can be from China. I am writing this review so that other buyers will not have to hunt this information down. I am giving this product only 2 stars because of the time it has taken me to deal with a return.

I like the taste and it doesn't raise my blood sugars.

I didn't realize it had a glycemic index. I'm not using it very much though.. if at all. The sweetness is lovely though... but since I don't use it much, I may give this bag to a friend.

I like the xylitol as a sweetener, it works well without having a artificial flavour or altering the taste of food. The granules are large and dissolve easily.

It is not as cool to the taste as swerve, which makes it taste more like sugar. I like them both.
