3-7100 Victor Style Torch Kit (3 Piece)

I have had coursework in using welders and cutting torches. My sons have had coursework in Ag using welders and cutting torches. This torch never worked. It would light fine. Upon introduction of initial oxygen, you could pull blue flames down to a nice set of point. However, upon depressing the oxygen lever, too much oxygen was introduced and it would never recover. We went through everything we could test. Using a borrowed torch, the regulators worked fine. We tried adjusting the pressures. It came down to something wrong in the torch or the handle. I tried to return the defective item, and it would not allow the return. Terrible product. Terrible "service". Buckle down and buy something worth the money, if you need a torch that works don't buy a K-T Industries, buy a Hobart or a Forney or a Victor. You'll pay out the nose, but the torch will work. And you won't have wasted money chasing a K-T product that might work.
