Durable, Visible, and floats! Its fun!
I purchased this for training our new puppy. It floats for use in the water. It is durable enough to withstand years of use, but you must understand this is not a chew tow. WIth that said, it will stand up to quite a bit of chewing. More of a toy for retrieval, fetch, and all-around play. It is our dog's favorite toy!

This was a go lift for my friend and his new 5 month old golden retriever, it was a big hit. Thanks for the speedy delivery and easy transition.

Outstanding durability
We bought this item for our half golden retriever, half border collie exactly 5 months ago. He still plays extensively with this toy for exactly 5 months now, we take him to the water at least 2-3 times a week and it is by far his favorite toy.In 5 months of continuous use it is finally starting to show some wear with some thinning of the canvas up around the throwing loop. Also a couple months ago we made the mistake of allowing him to use it as a chew toy on a long trip, in the process he broke the threads holding the bottom together (that was our fault, it's not a chew toy). Fortunately I was able to take a large needle and some fishing monofilament and sewed it back closed, been using it just fine ever since. We bought it in May and it's October now, we will probably keep using this one for the rest of this year and order him a new one next year, but wouldn't be surrprised if he just ends up having an old one and a new one but both usable. Kinda like our Kong Silicone Frisbie which is also an excellent toy.UPDATE October 14: Went ahead and oredered a new one, but we are going to put it away until the other one completely falls apart. Funny story, we were going to put it away in closet until we gave it to him, probably around Christmas. As it turns out, we left it sitting on the coffee table right after receiving Amazon package. He comes in from outside, sees it sitting on the table and immediately grabs it and gets ready to head for the lake. Had to take it away from him and put it up. Needless to say he was kinda bummed.
