I'm guessing this person has by now experienced his 'big-kaboom' and is no longer with us. The answer is 'NO' these are not 3000psi rated fittings. High pressure Oxygen requires special fittings and must be 'Medical Grade' if for human consumption.

How many threads per inch?

The standard for 1/4" NPT is 18 threads/inch with a 0.056" thread pitch. A web search for "NPT chart" will get detailed results for any size.

Will this work as a splitter coming from a propane tank to fuel two appliances?
