The luggage looks good, inside is nice and works well, but the shell is simply NOT durable. I've traveled with this set of luggage twice where all bags were checked in on United Airlines. On the first trip, the 25" pc got a huge crack in the front face on the return trip rendering it unusable. With a lot of talking and back and forth, Samsonite eventually replaced the 25" suitcase. I just returned from a second trip using the original 20" and 28" bags plus the replacement 25". On the 25", the rubbery outer coating of one wheel half ripped off on the cobblestone streets of Venice making it now a very noisy and awkward bag to roll. I can kind of give Samsonite a pass on the wheel since it was a rough surface, but still, it's luggage and it's Samsonite. I certainly expected better. And the worse part is yet another major front face crack on this new replacement bag after claiming it post-flight. Another suitcase down the drain. And lastly, there's now a 3" corner crack on the 28" bag. The bags weren't mishandled at all during regular use to/from the airports and the hotels... wheeled as you normally would and checked in as you normally would. The 25" and 28" pieces of luggage aren't carry-on size... if you're using them to fly, you're checking them in. They need to be able to handle normal use of being checked in. I just can't recommend these bags after so little use getting this many major cracks. I didn't expect 'disposable' luggage from Samsonite... pretty disappointing.

Bought the 3 piece set. Only used 4 times. The large case got a big crack on the top by the handle when i was packing to go on a cruise. Decided not to risk it and borrowed neighbors suitcase for my trip. Trying to figure out how the 10 year warranty works but it is complicated and cant seem to contact samsonite directly. The two smaller cases are still working good. It was not even heavy when it broke.

The luggage set is attractive, functional, and easy to handle. The medium size bag has held up fine over several flights, but the large bag developed a large crack across the top after its second trip, a multi-leg international flight. Delta replaced the bag with a different brand but I now have a mismatched set and a cracked bag I'd hate to throw out. The smaller and medium bags might have better durability over the long term given their size, but it's disappointing the smaller bag cracked after only two trips.

We bought these in 2024. After two airline trips, they have held up very well. They are easy to pack, and the locks are easy to use yet secure. The best thing about this luggage is that they are easy to wheel around. No matter how full they are, they are quite easy to push and pull through airports.

I bought this set 5 weeks ago. I've traveled with it twice. The first thing is that when you go to close it and it's fully packed you have to not pack any small items on the right hand side because when you close it they will fall out. So you have to be very careful and strategic about what and how you pack on one side of the suitcase. The other thing is, as you see in the picture, this suitcase is fully packed from a 10-day trip with winter clothes. The trip I returned on yesterday, the suitcase is crushed, not what I expected after having researched and purchased based on the recommendations for this Samsonite set.
