The gel i had wasn't getting me that deep red i wanted, so i ordered a bottle of red food color from Amazon fresh. I was so impressed with how red it was,with no flavor change, that now it's the only food coloring i use. It's cheap, doesn't have the cancer causing red dye in it (you know, the kind that if you drink a gallon of it, you get cancer).
