Significantly reduces wind noise, performs better than a case on the camera for me, however being made of foam, it will inevitably rip at some point

I use these mainly while cycling, so there is a lot of wind noise to deal with - they work perfectly, and the audio is 10 times better than it was without it. My only gripe is having to move it out of the way to change batteries as it's sometimes difficult to get it perfectly back in place (but that could just be me).

A great product that will kind of shield your Gopro camera and reduce the amount of wind noise when filming. Plus 2 in a pack. Whats not to like. A worthy purchase!

They are ok, they do reduce wind noise but they do tear easy so getting your SD card in and out will eventually make these unusable. Ultimately I went back to the media mod and external mic.

I used this for a GoPro mounted on my motorcycle helmet. It successfully reduced wind noise significantly, and my footage was a lot more usable. My bike sounds great now!Only cons:1. Can be a little bit fiddly to get it on the GoPro2. Increases the size of the GoPro - I can now see it on the front of my helmet while riding, but this isn't a big deal for me.Otherwise a great bang-for-your-buck solution to wind noise.

The full windshield overheated my GoPro. However, I cut it down, so it just covers the bottom 50% of the GoPro, I also cut a hole for the USB through door and widened the hole for the tripod attachment and it seems to work ok now. It certainly makes a positive difference to the wind noise.
