This sponge is for men. If you use pronouns this is probably not for you. The Duke Cannon soap does fit tight. For the first week it is hard to get it to make a lot of suds. I use a piece of fishing line and cut it in half. Using a knife might break it up but still usable. The black side is great for removing grime from around my fingertips. So if you’re a man and do manly things this is for you.

These scrubbers are awesome. I only wish that there were bags colored to match the soap bars so the when I have multiple bars in the shower, I can tell which one to pick up without having to sniff it.

The scrubber is not like those cheap loofas , it’s effective in removing all debris from dirt to old skin. It’s very easy to use

First off, I've used a few soap saver scrubs and have always had 2 problems, not much lather and melts the soap away really fast. Dukes scrub is really nice on both of those issues. Lather is very easy to produce and continues throughout use until rinsed away. It drys very quickly so cold pressed soap will solidify quickly (very hard to get a good soap that doesn't melt in 2 weeks or less). The only thing I don't really like about this is the velcro closure. The velcro holds well but it seals on the side with the exfoliating scrub (which I like to use on my face) so I end up scratching my face A LOT with the sharp side. Would love to see a new version with maybe a rope closure and maybe a little more texture to the scrub itself...otherwise, very happy with purchase

Fits the Duke Cannon soap bars perfectly, kinda feels a little like sandpaper but my husband loves it.

I took a chance on the scrubber, and I’ve been really pleased with it. I started with a half-used brick of Bay Rum, and was impressed at how quickly the soap worked into a lather. The orange side was great for regular wash, and the green side has been great for tough places that are either calloused or on their way (knuckles, elbows, etc.). I also used the green side once after I’d been painting; it really helped make sure all the little specks were gone and that I didn’t look like a Jackson Pollock canvas. Once the Bay Rum had run its course, I switched to a new, full-size brick of Gunsmoke (good stuff!). I agree with other users that it was slightly finicky to get the full brick in the scrubber. I imagine that is by design, and I didn’t have a problem with it. I have noticed that, compared to a “more used” brick, it is a little more work to get a good lather with a new bar. That said, if you use the water flow and work the scrubber with your fingers, it will do the job. More and more uses will eventually start eroding the bar, and you ‘ll be able to get more friction and thus more lather. I think it’s a great value, especially since there’s nothing keeping you from using other soaps in the same scrubber. Great gift idea for the dudes in your life as well.

I really wanted to like this product. First off, I bought it predominantly as a way to better grip Duke Cannon's gigantic bars as I am taking a shower. In that respect, this product works great. As well, it is rough enough to provide great exfoliation, but not too rough as to be uncomfortable. For those two pros, it gets 3 stars. Unfortunately, the cons outweigh the pros. I gave this product 4 days of use before I had to give up on it. As other reviewers have reported, the ability to create a meaningful lather is reduced dramatically when using this pouch. It is very hard to maintain and keep a lather. The Duke Cannon soap creates a wonderful lather. However, when putting it in the pouch, it takes a lot more effort to create even a slight lather. Additionally, when I did give up on the pouch due to the less lather and removed the soap from the pouch, I could tell that the soap was not drying properly in-between showers. The outside of the bar of soap was significantly soft and wearing away much faster than when I had not been using the pouch. This was despite hanging the pouch in a well-ventilated area to dry every day after my shower. The outside of the pouch would dry, but obviously not the soap inside. This soap is expensive enough without the pouch causing the soap to not last as long. So, I really wanted to like the product, but it just has too many negative aspects to continue using it. I will probably use it as a storage pouch...for something...

Really good quality material. You need to make sure you use the type of soap that agitates easily — some soap bars require extra scrubbing to get foamy. My only gripe is the lack of accommodating the shrinking of the soap bar as you use it. When the bar gets too small, it no longer fits firmly inside the sleeve — it just wobbles around, making it more cumbersome. The Velcro opening lid holds the soap fine when the bar is full size, but there’s no Velcro to let the lid close tighter as the soap gets smaller.
