Works great!
Work great! Tips are extremely sharp so caution to those using for goats. I took mine and banged the tips on a large rock to dull the tips a little because I have young goats who don’t know the definition of stay still.

So far so good
Trimmed up my baby goats hooves and they did real good. Slid through them like scissors on parchment paper. Of course they're still babies and their hooves don't really harden until they out of the nursery pen (in our barn), the real challenge is going to be trimming their skittish momma's hooves. She's such a brat. I've been testing the clippers on tougher materials and they do the job. The clip closes and locks with ease. It's light but it's got enough weight so it doesn't feel cheap. I see some folks fuss about dull blades, I always sharpen my new blades for 2 hours straight out the package to make sure the angle is right, test the springs every 30 minutes with a couple of squeezes and oil it up if it feels too stiff. It's held up real good while testing. They were already covered in an odorless, greasy substance which I'm not complaining, the seller did that step for me so thank you. 😁 I will be back if/when these break.

Best clippers for the garden
Got to know these when I had goats. Now they are a garden staple. These are sharp and tough, and I use them for lots of things, big stems, little stems, roots....just great. Long lasting too.

Great for smaller hooves
We use these to trim our 5 pigmy goats' hooves. They're the perfect size for their abnormally small feet and the blades have stayed sharp across three months of trims. Pleased with the construction and grip. Would NOT recommend these for bigger goats.

My favorite pair of clippers
These are my go-to pair of clippers when floral designing. They cut through thick stems with ease and can cut finer floral wire easily as well. I’ve used other brands while working on different floral jobs and these ones are still my favorite.

Awesome deal super sharp!
These are nice quality shears for a super price! I'll be buying more of these no doubt. Awesome to have around the house, very sharp and seem well built and sturdy. I used them for trimming up the hooves on my sheep, but these would be great for pruning small trees etc.

Not the best for goat hooves
I bought them for trimming goat hooves but they weren't very effective. I acquired 4 goats (mom and 3 kids) that have hooves which were folding underneath the foot bed. These parts of the hooves are as thin as leaves but they just folded and got caught inside the 2 blades; the trimmers wouldn't snip these pieces. Then I had kicking goats with trimmers stuck on their foot! Maybe it is too damp for these trimmers to handle thin goat hoofs - perhaps they'll work better in the summer. I upgraded to a pair of trimmers that were double the price and which were recommended on a goat blog - I'll review those ones once I try them.

Not for sheep hooves!
Used for trimming sheep hooves. Trimmers were useless after about 20 head. Lost there edge vey quickly. Would not buy again fo this purpose. Might be ok in the greenhouse.

Shaved the blades when I went to use them
I went to use these (as intended) for goat hooves, and ended up shaving the edge off the blade when I closed them on the hoof. I run a business and I was lucky to have my old (other brand) set with me aswell. Now they don't close because of the bent edge

Not the size advertised
This is definitely not 10" as it is advertised. Just received it today. Not sure if they will be big enough for trimming hooves in alpacas. Disappoint with misadvertising.
