It's a music box to set on a table.It rotates on its base as it plays the music. I bought this as gift last year and loved it so much that I bought one for myself.

What is the quality of music?

The quality seems good. When I received it there was a small piece broken off, but I was able to glue it back on instead of sending it back and waiting for a new one. The packaging was adequate, but things happen. It was a gift for my granddaughter after we had seen The Nutcracker.
