Q: Can we remove the auto switch off mode ?

I would not think so but cannot understand why you would do so it takes a while for it to switch off anyway and for safety reasons it should not be turned off if it could be

Q: What is the height of the assembled iron with water tank?

With the ironing sitting on its base, the whole thing from bottom to top is about 31-32cm

Q: What is the small compartment under the handle. It is not explained in manuals

I’ve not noticed this compartment before, I just had to go and take a look. It is not used as part of normal use, let’s say. It is sealed and you’re not able to open it. I’m guessing it is an access point should anything ever go wrong with the iron? Hope this helps.

Q: How heavy is the iron itself not including the base portion? Does the iron strain the wrist on long usage time (1hr+)? Thanks.

Absolutely not. The iron is comfortable, light and very efficient. I have arthritis and the iron is no problem 2hrs.
