Paper Mate InkJoy Gel Pens, Medium Point

So I will admit that my pen (addiction) collection is growing thanks to pretty colors. I actually had very low expectations for this pack. But within a second of writing, I knew I was going to put these into every-day rotation. The pen barrel is comfortable rubber grip so your hands don't get fatigued quickly. The colors themselves are saturated and lay down a smooth line with no smearing so far. I like the no cap thing I hate looking for pen caps, the clicker feels smooth. I did a very non-scientific water test I tested all the colors on regular paper and was disappointed to see that the ink is not quite archival (while the ink did not disappear) the water made it runny and not legible. I would love to see the ink reformulated so it is archival (but hey if wishes were horses) All in all I will purchase another set as a back-up because I can see these pens walking off with sticky fingers. (I don't think I will pick up the pack with the yellow ink, yellow ink is just rubbish unless it's for highlighting)

LOVE these pens. They write great. I got a free sample at work and even though I went back and got 3 more free pens (tee hee), I still ordered this package because I love them that much. The ink does not smear, the size of the pen is nice (doesn't cause fatigue from holding if you're writing a lot), the colors are great, and it writes SMOOTH. These are my new go-to pens! I only wish the ink was tamper-resistant (so I could feel comfortable writing checks with them...the 3 times a year I have to write them!).

I feel like there are a handful of professions out there that really know a good pen when they see it. And all the teachers I know are very very particular about their grading pens. These pens are perfection. They were actually recommended to me by another teacher and this is the only kind of pen that I will grade with. It’s thick And bold but it doesn’t smear, and even the lighter colors like orange and lime green still show up great on a paper. I love the fact that it does not have a lid, because let’s get real I’d lose it. My daughter who is a budding artist also loves his pens. If you’re looking for a teacher gift, this is it. LOL and if you’re looking for yourself, trust me, from a professional pen user, this is the best out there and the price is right

I've used Pentel Energel for years. Great pens but a bit pricey. Decided to try these Paper Mates out recently. First off the ink tube fits perfectly into the Energel barrel so they might use the same exact ink. These write perfecty smooth and have a nice quality retracting mechanism. The design is smooth and singular in color overall. They feel great and look good. I've just found my new favorite pen!

Got these pens to restock my desk at the office when we returned part time and I absolutely love the way that these write! There is great pigmentation, and the ink dries very quickly as well!!

These are my coworker's favorite pens. I bought a set for each teacher on my team for Christmas. They loved them. They are nice pens with pretty colors. They write nicely. They get 4 stars instead of 5 because I have another brand that I personally believe write nicer and feel nicer in my hand.

As a teacher, it's the little things in life that make us happy -- and these pens are it! I purchased a couple single pens and used them for a while. I fell in love with the way the ink flows so smoothly and without any skips, so I ordered this pack of 8. The colors are vibrant, yet do not bleed through the paper. You can write on both sides of a piece of paper and it will still be legible. The pen's grip is comfortable and I notice no wrist/finger fatigue. If you're a lefty, no worries, you do not have to fear smearing and smudges. The ink dries instantly. Go ahead and buy the pens, you won't be sorry.

These pens are great. As a left handed person they don't smudge and the colours are true. They do seems to run out quite quickly about 3 months of usage for me
