Invaluable Sleep Aid.
Used this as a Sleep Aid for our youngest. It quickly became a must have. Can play multiple sounds and lullabies. It's best feature was White Noise and the ability to shut off after a certain time limit, but reactivate if it hears baby cry and help settle them. Charges lasted several days at a time. Good quality build and adjustable volumes. Very useful for travel as baby can have the familiar noise with them and the comfort of it activating if they stir.

Mini Pip is a great little invention for newborns on the go
Our little boy was gifted 'Ollie the Owl' for his crib and as that worked well, we decided to purchase a travel 'Pip the Panda' for his pram / car seat. We used it loads when my son was in his bassinet whilst on walks but he's six months old now and we haven't used it for a month or two (he doesn't nap as much when we are out and about so it's not really necessary for us). We'll keep Pip for any future children though! We're going away soon and to be honest, although Pip is smaller, I think we'll take the Ollie the Owl. Mini Pip is great, but I'd say it's better as a pram friend rather than a travel buddy. I like the lights on the bigger ones! One thing to note is that the Velcro isn't the most secure and Pip fell off a couple of times when we knocked it, so it's worth putting it somewhere where you won't lose it if it falls off. I'd agree with the other reviews as well about it being a bit frustrating that the on/off switch is hidden behind Velcro at the back. I don't think either of these things would stop me from recommending mini Pip though!

Great price
Ordered pip the panda at £15, by far the best price I could find. Fast delivery despite longer estimate. Item is as expected (smaller version of big toy) nice soft feel, sound quality not as good on ‘water noise’ but it is the smaller cheaper version so I wouldn’t expect it to me. Sound pack is removable so can put in wash (and also still use if soft part of item in the wash) which is ideal. Haven’t tried yet so not sure on cry sensor sensitivity.

Good for the price
Only got this today but already noticing some pros and cons:Pros:1.My baby loves the look of the device and the feel of it. It’s nice and bold for young baby eyes.2.It has a range of sounds for a small device and thankfully the white noise one is one my baby responds to unlike that of a certain sheep which although worked for my first born doesn’t work for this one!3. It does start up again when my son cries.4. It’s washable and the batteries can be recharged.5. It’s portable.6. It’s loud and has several volume settings.Cons:1. There’s no way to switch it off other than fully opening it and flipping the switch. This is annoying as the back has a Velcro closing which means you either risk waking your baby or leave it playing.2. It says it has a 10 hour battery, but it’s stays alert for 3 hours after first starting, if your baby cries within those 3 hours then it starts all over again (therefore it’s very likely that it will only really last one night) I wish there was a way of turning off the crying function without having to open the loud Velcro back, incidentally there is not way of turning off that function just the device overall.Overall: For the price it is a good device in comparison to some of the other portable ones on the market, I think the mini my hummy is £40. I just wish that it had a zip fastening to make it quieter to turn off or a way to turn it off fully from the outside.

Absolute must have!
This is an absolute must have for anyone with a newborn baby. It's been a lifesaver so far, helping sooth baby while he adjusts to lying in a cot on his own so you can go to the bathroom and take a moment to look after yourself without the baby waking up after 2 minutes of being put down.I am adding it to my list of things I would buy someone for a baby shower, it is a great item to have.

Works well
This is a great product for on-the-go, my baby sleeps well at night with white noise but isn’t a great napper during the day, this definitely seems to help, easily attaches to car seat or pram for travelling, the only downside is the on/off and volume switch is difficult to operate without opening up the Velcro and removing the control unit

Fantastic
I bought this after going shopping one day with a screaming baby. I have attached this now to the pram and she loves the sounds and they calm her while out and about. I was looking at this item for a few weeks before I purchased and I’m glad that I did buy. I think the usb charging is great so no need for battery’s. I even purchased the bigger one for the cot again because of the handy usb so no need to keep buying and charging battery’s.

Lovely for travel and not only
I have the big penguin and my son absolutely love it , he always falls asleep in their songs. As soon as I’ve seen that a new one smaller and ideal for travel came out, I had to have it. However I was hoping it was a easier way of turning on and off without opening and closing the back .... that’s the only annoying thing.... the rest all perfect and has same songs as my bigger one :)
